The Rare Book Collection in the Special Collections department at Western Washington University is composed of hundreds of unique and valuable items across a wide range of genres. We posses a considerable assortment of rare fly fishing books, volumes on the history of the Pacific Northwest, a collection of locally produced letterpress books, and a wide variety of exceptional art books. All together, the WWU repository contains a large number of irreplaceable items designed to serve the research needs of our students, faculty, and community. In this digital collection you will find descriptive information about several particularly interesting items from the larger Rare Book Collection. Catalog records for the other items in the collection, which includes a vast number of genres and subjects not included above, can be found through Western’s online library catalog at http://www.library.wwu.edu/.
