About

The Collection:

This collection is a compilation of photographs that highlight important events for the Artists for Kids dated back to the late 20th century. Artists for Kids works closely with professional artists in order to provide enrichment opportunities for students in the North Vancouver district.

The photographs within this collection capture a variety of events and programs including workshops, camps for students, exhibitions, and art gallery programs. Attached with each photograph description are the names of the artists that set up their work in the gallery as well as teachers that were involved in the events. Some photographs also capture notable pieces of work that was completed over the years by both artists and students.

This collection will be useful to individuals who have participated in the organization’s events or are curious about its history. It has been digitized for both preservation and promotion purposes.
