About this Website

A poppy

ABOUT the Artist: Corrine Ketelaar is an avid gardener, and uses flowers from her gardens, books, and walks in nature as inspiration for her work. She started painting in her mid-sixties, exploring delicate details of shape and colour, at around the same time that she developed Parkinson's Disease. When she paints, the tremors she experiences disappear.

This collection was chosen to exhibit the different styles the artist has experimented with over the past 15 years and thus is not meant to be representative of her best work. As Corrine has never sold or exhibited any of her work, you are the first outside of her family and friends to see it. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
